A Community Meeting Under 7 Hours Long

"Coming Soon" is about to be a thing of the past for us. That big  "Priority 1, Coming Soon" finally has a name. It's Regional Measure 4 (RM-4). And SCHA is excited to be supporting this effort.

This Regional Housing Bond Ballot Measure (Now called Regional Measure 4 / RM-4) has been an ongoing effort from BAHFA and regional partners to invest $20billion in housing the Bay Area. If passed, this measure will allocate bond money across the 9 Bay Area counties, including ours!

The first big update and opportunity to get involved in supporting this measure is Thursday, July 25th. SV@Home and Working Partnerships are leading the campaign in our campaign and are holding a gathering for community based organizations (that's us!) to learn more. It's important to have a large showing at this meeting to signify the amount of support that this measure has.

We'll share more information on the RM-4 when we have it (and have the time to share it)

We're working on refining our project evaluation form to make sure it lines up with our MVS and creates an effective process. If you know of projects coming up, please let us know and share with others.

Priority 3: Public Education

We have started seeking out and coordinating with potential partners for a public education event. If you want to get involved, please reach out!
